Workshops are offered on an ongoing basis. The projects below are just a few on offer. We also offer the following workshops: Pendants, earrings, embellished rings, spoons, gold fusing on PMC, etc. We also offer full day workshops where 3 items can be made. I am happy to arrange a workshop of your choice and duration. Just let me know what you would like to make.


                               "Caning with PMC"
Learn the technique of combining PMC with a combustible medium to create an openwork pendant. 
Cost of workshop: R850.00
Duration : Half day
9:30am to 1pm.
Venue:  Cullinan

                             "Rock `em Rings"
Create a big ring using a bead, beach stone, coin, or any other treasure of your choice that you have been keeping ( and wishing it was in a piece of jewellery!)
Cost of workshop : R900.00
Duration : Half day
9am to 1pm.
Venue: Cullinan

Do you have a favorite drawing that you would like to convert into a pendant? This project will teach you how to use photopolymer plates to make a unique, one off, original item.
Included in the class fee is a 6.3g packet of Precious Metal Clay , photopolymer plate and the use of studio tools and equipment. If time allows, you can string your pendant with beads that you bring to class.

CERTIFICATION COURSE OUTLINES


Level 1 Certification 

The Level ONE Course is a 3-day class that teaches 8 Projects focusing on building the core skills required for a wide range of PMC projects and covers techniques and design considerations related to the use of the different types of PMC clay.
Completion of this course prepares the student for Level 2.
You will receive a Level 1 Artisan Certificate on completion of the course.
                        Refreshments and a light lunch will be served.

Level 2 Certification 

This course is open to those who have completed the Level ONE Artisan Certification.
SIX projects are created over a period of 3 days, incorporating techniques that will add to those acquired in the Level 1 Artisan Course.
It is understood that the Artisan undertaking this course is competent in the techniques and methods as learned in the Level 1 Course. The curriculum will focus on various advanced techniques and finishes, and allows no extra time for going back to basics.

You will receive a Level 2 Artisan Certificate on completion of the course.
